dog whistles is effective in training a dog?
I have a golden retriever puppy 8 weeks old and bites and growls … much. she was the eldest a litter of 12 and I was a dog an effective way of training a dog. If so, say that you can get one.
It may be the nut depends on how you use it. Say you are training your dog to come. A whistle would be good in this situation. It could blow the whistle and when the dog is reinforced with a treat. This way the dog realizes that when the whistle is blown and it will get treatment. The dog can not pick up on this immediately to be patient. If you are trying to get you to stop biting or growling and blows the dog whistle do not know what that means, unless you reinforce it with a treatment like the other example. You could get a dog whistle, but any type of whistle work. You can also simply make a sound in place. Either works!
