Flat Coated Retriever Personality

The Clumber Spaniel is a spaniel that was existent in Great Britain of the nineteenth century. This race is probably a mixture of certain types of spaniel Early and dachshund. This breed is known for an excellent sense of smell and also endurance.

This spaniel is heavy, long bodies and headquarters very low, standing, and only seventeen to twenty inches tall. However, they can weigh anywhere from fifty-five to eighty-five pounds. The Clumber is considered as heavier than the other spaniels boned with a huge head and face and expression which resembles that of the dog. His coat is resistant weather and dense. With those they know, however, they are loyal and gentle, and their "best friend".

Clumbers are loyal to a fault and, unfortunately, is considering a dog and sit on your lap for attention and affection. This should be discouraged because their hips low. The Clumber Spaniel puppy is very curious and creative with their curiosity. As a puppy, they are very focusing on people and the need to achieve something. Therefore, as they are puppies, be sure to hide shoes and any articles of clothing that you do not transported by a race curious and inventive.

This breed can be fed from anywhere and a half to two and a half a box of high quality meat product or five cups of dry dog food with vitamins and minerals.

A huge fenced yard with lots of run, play and game room is the best for this race. They must get daily exercise and quantity. While apartment living is not the best for the Clumber, if the owner must live in an apartment, be assured that the Clumber receives plenty of exercise. Because this dog is a hunter by nature, training can be a challenge because they tend to follow any odors.

Corporate Training is required and the instructor must constantly prove he is the leader or the Clumber will quickly find any weakness and try to resume or take advantage of the leader. Because this dog has a latent aggression possessive is not easy to see that dog should not be spoiled.

To spoil this race, this aggression will be brought to the surface if the race does not get his own way. Because of this trend, children can not be rough or fighting with this dog, because aggression May cause them to bite, simply because they are too possessive. If a person has a strong leadership, they may be well with this breed, but the socialization and training should take place.
